Join us from 11-2 Wednesday through Friday through August 16 for a unique dining experience! After August 17 we are only open by special arrangement.

Homemade soups such as Grandma’s Chicken Noodle (yes, it really was Grandma Duerre’s recipe), Chicken Tortilla, Knoephla and Tuscana are a hit, as are our panini and BLTs. Signature salads include Mandarin Orange Chicken and Strawberry Walnut.

Don’t forget dessert! Cheesecake is served any time of the day, any day of the week. Favorites include Rhubarb Creme Delight and Caramel Pecan. If the cook has had time, you may also find Banana Cake or a Molasses Spice Cookie. ūüôā

It’s time for our 10th annual Garden Party at The Prairie Bistro and The Flower House Garden Center! July 7 & 8 from 10-3 check out our blow-out prices on perennials. Have lunch from 11-1:30 and come for dinner from 5-8 each day.

Dreamy chocolate cake, perfectly cooked tenderloin, enticing Bistro Bacon. What more could you ask for in a Valentine’s Dinner?

The Prairie Bistro is serving for Valentine’s on Friday, February 10, Saturday, February 11, and Tuesday, February 14, from 5-8 pm each night.

Start out with some Nibbles of Bistro Bacon or Prairie Nuggets.

Then choose from a delectable item from our full menu. Our Beef Tenderloin is new, and oh, so juicy and tender!

Finish with a dark, rich slice of Chocolate Oblivion Cake, light and airy Angelfood or the ever-popular Caramel Pecan Cheesecake.

Dog Days of Summer 2016

Friday only (August 19) is our annual Dog Days of Summer dinner from 5-8 pm. Prime rib while it lasts, Ribeye, sirloin, tiger shrimp, Rosemary Chicken, Ribs, Tuna, and, new this month, Barramundi fish! 

Plus fresh house made Peach Pie!

The Prairie Bistro opens for lunches on Monday, April 13, from 11 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Saturday until the end of June. We’ve got all the old favorites-Grandma’s Chicken Noodle Soup, Tuscan Panini, Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad- and are toying with a few new items. And don’t forget dessert!
