The Prairie Bistro is serving for Valentine’s on Friday, February 9, Saturday, February 10, and Wednesday, February 14, from 5-8 pm each night.

 

Start out with Lavosh topped with Havarti cheese, grilled shrimp and olives, Bistro Bacon, or Salmon Goat Cheese Crostini.

Then choose from a delectable item from our full menu. Our Beef Tenderloin is oh, so juicy and tender!

Finish with a dark, rich slice of Chocolate Oblivion Cake, light and creamy, decadent Creme Brulee,  or the ever-popular Caramel Pecan Cheesecake.

Harvest Dinner 2017

Celebrate Fall with our annual Harvest Dinner, September 15 & 16, from 5 – 8 pm each night. Prime Rib and Tenderloin will it lasts. Try our new Pork Shanks, too!

This month’s featured dessert will be German Chocolate Cake (a special birthday request for a guest!).

It’s Garden Party Time!

Join us for our 10th annual Garden Party Friday, July 7, and Saturday, July 8 from 10-3 each day.

We have a plethora of healthy, happy perennials, roses and nursery plants waiting to live in your garden space! Nearly all of them are 20-50% off!

Also find sales on garden accessories and potting soil, as well.

Sign up for door prizes, have lunch and/or dinner both days! Lunch is served from 11-1:30 and dinner from 5-8. Reservations are appreciated for the evening meal, or if you have a large group coming for lunch.

Whew! We made it through the Memorial Day weekend. It has been a wonderful and crazy spring at The Flower House Garden Center.  There are still lots of beautiful annuals and perennials to choose from to help beautify your outdoor living space!

Starting Tuesday, May 30, our summer hours are Monday through Saturday from 9-5 pm, closed Sundays and evenings except by special arrangement. The Prairie Bistro is still serving lunch from 11-1:30, dessert available all the time!

 

 

Shake off Old Man Winter at The Prairie Bistro March 17 & 18 from 5-8 each night. Succulent Tenderloin and juicy Prime Rib while they last!

Of course, we will be offering the full menu, also! Tiger shrimp, Halibut, Barrimundi round out our seafood options. Ribeye, sirloin, ribs and Chicken Rosemary round out our menu.

Old Man Winter

Ever want to eat your words? The last line in my last post was “Bring it on, Old Man Winter!” All Tucked In!

Well, my challenge was heard. I’m sorry!

We, like so many others in our snow-laden area, have taken a hit from the 55 inches of snow we were “blessed” with over the Christmas season.

A hoop structure of aluminum and plastic was no match for all that white, fluffy stuff.

I take it back! Come on, Spring! We won’t take this lying down! Well, not for long, at least.

We are planning our spring schedule, honing up for workshops, classes and Dirty Dining.
