Garden Tour 2024

Join us Friday, July 12, from 4-7 pm, to tour some of our glorious local gardens! In addition to the display beds at The Prairie Bistro & Gardens, there are 4 Mohall gardens and 2 Lansford gardens to enjoy.

 Mohall

  • Judy Duerre – After years of sharing her growing knowledge with Flower House customers, Judy has finally had the opportunity to work on the yard of her dreams. Very little grass and an eclectic mix of perennials and annuals are featured in her garden.
  • Kaitlin & Kurtis Sisk – With Judy and the late Ruby Walters as her mentors, Kaitlin has taken a small yard and created spaces for her favorite perennials, many from her grandmother’s yard, and decorated with an assortment of interesting planter combinations. Her window boxes always delight!
  • Michelle & Wally Beckman – A couple who thoroughly enjoys gardening and relaxing in their back yard, Michelle and Wally have spent years creating vignettes with vintage & found items tucked into their numerous perennial beds.
  • Kathy & Steve McLean – Located on the edge of town, the McLeans’ yard is a tranquil oasis, designed to help forget about the noise of the world around us!

Lansford

  • Michele & Jeff Dean – The Deans guarantee you will enjoy driving down their street. Michele has taken representing the garden side of The Prairie Bistro & Gardens seriously! Perennial beds, planters, and hanging baskets abound. Check out the new bed Jeff built in the back yard!
  • Kitty Torkelson & Steve Stephan – Kitty’s extensive plant knowledge shows. While her street side is always beautiful, enjoy the opportunity to get a peek at her amazing back yard!

Tickets can be purchased in advance in store or  online by clicking here.

The day of the tour, tickets may be purchased at the Dean residence (in Lansford) or at The Prairie Bistro & Gardens. Light refreshments will be served at The Prairie Bistro. We will also be running a sale on perennials! 😉
